Villanova falls again
Things have been rough for Villanova as of late and that trend continued on Friday as the Wildcats were beaten on the road at Georgia State, 15-0.

The loss was the third straight for Villanova and dropped the club to 1-6 on the season.

Brandon Siegenthaler failed to get out of the fourth inning, surrendering six runs (four earned) on eight hits. The Wildcats used five pitchers in the contest, combining to allow 18 hits to go along with eight walks and one hit batter.

Chris Rotondo and Pat O'Neill led the Villanova offense with two hits each.

The two clubs resume their weekend set on Saturday. Cole Patten, who has been a bright spot on the Wildcats' pitching staff, is scheduled to start.
