Cossetti sets homer record for Saint Joseph's
Andrew Cossetti made history on Friday, clubbing three home runs for Saint Joseph's to move into the top spot as the program's all-time home run leader. The homers propelled the Hawks to a doubleheader sweep of Radford.

The Hawks scored three runs in the ninth inning of Game 1 to knock off the Highlanders. Conlan Wall delivered an RBI single to push across the tying run, while Brett Callahan hit a two-run homer later in the frame to break the tie and ultimately give the Hawks the victory.

Cossetti hit a grand slam in the eighth and finished the contest 2-for-5. Nate Thomas also chipped in with three hits.

The Hawks had an easier time taming the Highlanders in Game 2, securing a 10-4 victory. Cossetti put the Hawks on the board in the opening frame with a two-run homer.

Thomas and Wall also homered in the contest. Cossetti drove in four runs while Wall pushed across three.

The three-homer performance gives Cossetti 31 for his career with the Hawks, surpassing John Brue who held the record with 30 since 2016.

The Saint Joseph's offense combined for six homers on the afternoon to increase their total to 23 on the season, one of the higher totals in all of Division I.

The three-game series will resume on Sunday.
