Philly D-II Players of the Week
Chestnut Hill's Sam Barletta pieced together an outstanding week, finishing 10-for-23 with nine RBIs and a homer to secure our weekly Philly area D-II Offensive Player of the Week honors. The senior catcher is hitting .395 on the season with 11 RBIs.

The Griffins got off to a rocky start on their recent road trip but swept a three-game set with Florida Memorial over the weekend to come home with a 4-5 record. For the year, Chestnut Hill is 5-8.

On the mound, West Chester's Braeden Fausnaught is our D-II Pitcher of the Week. The graduate student lefty tossed seven strong innings on Friday to shutdown Lock Haven, surrendering just two runs on seven hits. He also collected seven strikeouts.

The Rams are 11-2 on the season.

The Philadelphia Baseball Review celebrates the top college performances each week, announcing D-II honors every Tuesday.
