About Patrick Gordon
Gordon’s connection to baseball began as a player growing up in Philadelphia. He played youth baseball in Juniata Park before attending Northeast Catholic High School and later Temple University.
As his playing days wound down, journalism became the way he stayed connected to the game. What began with notebooks, local assignments and early professional reporting eventually led to the creation of the Philadelphia Baseball Review in 2007.
The goal was simple: build a publication that treated baseball in Philadelphia as one connected ecosystem, from the major leagues to college diamonds, amateur leagues and neighborhood fields.
Gordon also teaches sports journalism and career development at Temple University and holds a master’s degree in journalism.
