Arcadia put up some crooked innings on Friday to take care of Kings, 11-6. 

The Knights scored three runs in the first, three in the third, and four in the fourth to put the game away and to open conference play with a win. Ryan Smolen and Connor Cheeseman finished the day with three RBIs each, while Alex Madera finished 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored. 

Carson Denham secured the win for the Knights, tossing 3 1/3 scoreless innings while collecting three strikeouts. 

The win improved Arcadia to 12-3 on the year. The two clubs will resume their weekend series with a doubleheader on Sunday. 

In Other D-III Philly Action 
A six-run inning for Immaculata proved to be the difference on Friday as the Macs beat Swarthmore, 10-6.

The Garnet took an early four-run lead, but the Macs countered in the bottom of the fourth with six consecutive singles to open the frame. Josh Crowding delivered the highlight of the inning with a two-run single to center. The Macs added another pair of runs in the fifth and cruised to the win. 

Isaiah Payton finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored, while Ryan Struble chipped in with two hits. 

The Garnet threatened in the top of the ninth, scoring two runs, but reliever Trevor Wagner was able to close things out.
