Owen Coady wins Pitcher of the Week honors
Owen Coady continued his dominance this past week, tossing six shutout innings on Sunday to help Penn to a 2-1 victory over Winthrop. His performance earned him Pitcher of the Week honors from the Philadelphia Baseball Review.

Coady surrendered just one hit and two walks in Sunday's win. He collected six strikeouts while extending his scoreless streak on the season to 15 2/3 innings. His WHIP on the season is 0.77.

It's also important to note that this isn't just a lucky streak for Coady. He's currently sporting a 1.42 career ERA over 11 appearances for the Quakers over the past three seasons. He also has 50 strikeouts over 38 innings while limiting opponents to a .144 batting average.

The Quakers (7-5) host Monmouth on Wednesday to open the home portion of the 2022 schedule. The club then hosts Wagner for a three-game set starting on Saturday.
