Tommy Courtney named Player of the Week
Tommy Courtney pieced together an outstanding week at the plate for Penn, earning himself the Division-I Philly Offensive Player of the Week award from the Philadelphia Baseball Review.

The senior centerfielder finished his week 10-for-21 with seven RBIs. He also scored seven runs and hit two homers to help Penn win three of its four contests.

Courtney is hitting .341 this season with two homers and 12 RBIs.

He's also stolen three bases and made just one error in the field, proving again to be one of the elite defensive outfielders in the region.

The Quakers opened Ivy League play with a series win over Columbia this past weekend. Penn returns to action on Tuesday when they host Lafayette.
