Phillies deal Adam Haseley
The Phillies on Tuesday dealt outfielder Adam Haseley to the Chicago White Sox for right-handed pitcher McKinley Moore.

Haseley, who turns 26 next week, was the eighth overall pick in the 2017 draft. He never met the expectations placed on a first-round selection, hitting just .264 with an 82 OPS+ over 116 games.

Moore, 23, is a tall right-hander and spent last season in High A, posting a 4.20 ERA over 40 2/3 innings as a reliever. MLB Pipeline ranked him as the 27th best prospect in the White Sox organization.

Haseley's departure opens a spot on the Phillies' 40-man roster. Internally, it appears Bryson Stott could be added within the coming days and make the Opening Day roster. There's also the possibility that the club will dip back into the free-agent market and add another offensive piece to the bench.
