D-III Players of the Week
Brian Amantia, Jr. went 11-for 21 over the past week for Cairn, helping the club to an impressive 5-1 showing in its Myrtle Beach trip. The graduate student third baseman hit two home runs, collected 13 RBIs, and scored nine runs. He hit a grand slam and drove in a career-high six runs in a win over Hilbert, then collected five hits in an extra inning victory over Delaware Valley. He's our Philadelphia D-III Player of the Week.

On the mound, Delaware Valley's John Slover is our Pitcher of the Week. The sophomore out of Howell, NJ. appeared in three games last week, pitching 10 1/3 innings with seven strikeouts while surrendering just one earned run. He has a 0.87 WHIP on the year.

The Philadelphia Baseball Review celebrates the top college performances each week, announcing D-III honors every Tuesday.
