Andrew Cossetti makes history
Andrew Cossetti made history this past week, mashing his 32nd career homer to move himself to the top spot in Saint Joseph's program history. He's the Philadelphia Baseball Review Offensive Player of the Week.

The Eagleville native and La Salle College High alum finished the week 4-for-9, with three of those hits being home runs. He also drove in eight runs and scored four times, helping the Hawks sweep both ends of a doubleheader with Radford on Friday.

Cossetti has eight homers on the year to go along with 25 RBIs. His 43 total bases are the most of all Division-I players in Philadelphia, and his 1.217 OPS ranks second behind only Penn's Wyatt Henseler (1.273). He also has two hits in each of his last five games.

Beyond his offensive performance, Cossetti has also played extremely well behind the plate. He's committed just one error and has thrown out four potential base-stealers.

Saint Joseph's is off to a solid start, sitting 8-4. The Hawks will host Villanova on Tuesday before heading to Cincinnati for a four-game set this weekend.
