Henseler picked up pair of hits
Tommy Courtney hit a pair of homers to help lead Penn past Columbia on Sunday afternoon at Satow Stadium in New York City, 13-7.

The win secured a series win for the Quakers in their first Ivy League competition since 2019.

Ben Miller, Craig Larsen, and Wyatt Henseler collected three hits each in the win. Seth Werchan drove in three runs while Jackson Appel hit a homer and scored four times.

The 19 hits marked a season-high for Penn.

Owen Coady secured the win, though he ran into some trouble in the seventh and surrendered five runs over five innings in relief.

Sunday's victory marked the 150th at the helm for Penn head coach John Yurkow. Now in his ninth season, he entered the year ranked fifth for coaching wins in program history.

Penn will host Lafayette on Tuesday in the Liberty Class Classic. The Ivy League schedule resumes on Saturday when Dartmouth comes to Philadelphia for a weekend set.
