D-III Recap

Arcadia concluded its trip to Virginia with a 10-0 win over former conference-foe Stevenson University at the University of Mary Washington on Sunday afternoon. 

The Knights improved to 5-1 with their fifth-straight victory. Arcadia opened the scoring in the top of the first when Joseph Kumar hit a one-out double to left, stole third, and scored on an error. 

The Knights doubled their lead in the top of the third after Alex Madera hit a double to left and scored on Justin Massielo's double to left to make the score 2-0. 

Arcadia broke the game open in the top of the fifth with three runs on only one hit. 

Hunter Sibley struck out seven Mustang's across six innings, allowing six hits with zero walks to earn the win. Tyler Costaro pitched a scoreless inning and Nick Fossile finished the final two innings with three strikeouts. 

Massielo was 3-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI's while Madera went 3-for-6 with two runs scored.
