Each year the Philadelphia Baseball Review consults with coaches and scouts from across the region to develop a watch list of the top talent within the various divisions of the NCAA.
The roster below includes some of the premier talents from around the region that you should watch this season at the Division 2 level.
Catcher: Sam Barletta (Chestnut Hill, senior)
Hit .387 last season while finishing with two homers and 25 RBI's. He finished second on the club with 68 total bases and posted a .613 slugging percentage.
Infielder: Andrew Dietz (Chestnut Hill, senior)
The Central Bucks South product led the Griffins with 41 RBI's, and his five dingers ranked as second best. He also posted a .984 fielding percentage and worked as a starting pitcher, tossing 30 2/3 innings while picking up 42 strikeouts.
Infielder: Justin Horn (West Chester, graduate student)
Hit .394 for the Rams while finishing second on the club with 35 RBI's. He also swiped six bases.
Infielder: Moke Ferrara (West Chester, senior)
Led West Chester with a .403 average to go along with a team-leading nine homers and 36 RBI's. Posted a 1.419 OPS.
Infielder: Zack Austin (Jefferson, junior)
Hit .367 last season to lead the Rams. Posted a .984 OPS to go along with eight stolen bases. He also made four appearances on the mound and held opponents to a .229 batting average.
Infielder: Alex Gonzalez (Jefferson, sophomore)
Hit .336 to go along with 22 RBI's and 44 runs scored. He also posted a .931 OPS and swiped 13 bases.
Infielder: Evan Sinclair (University of the Sciences, junior)
Hit .407 for the Devils while picking up 11 doubles. Drove in 16 runs over 24 games.
Outfielder: Ryan Sawyer (Jefferson, sophomore)
Crushed six homers to go along with a .339 average and 34 RBI's. He also posted a 1.089 OPS and stole six bases.
Outfielder: Zack Wright (West Chester, graduate student)
Hit .369 (38-for-103) with five doubles, four triples, and six home runs. He also collected 25 RBI's while finishing the year with a 13-game hit streak.
Outfielder: Luke Cantwell (West Chester, senior)
Hit .379 a year ago with six homers and 33 RBI's. Posted a 1.161 OPS and finished second on the Rams last season with 67 total bases.
Utility: Nick Cerelli (University of the Sciences, senior)
Led the Devils with a .425 average a year ago to go along with eight homers and 33 RBI's. Posted a .863 slugging percentage and stole five bases.
Pitcher: Braeden Fausnaught (West Chester, graduate student)
Collected 38 strikeouts over 35 innings last season while posting a 4.11 ERA. Held opponents to a .220 batting average.
Pitcher: Matt Bukavich (Jefferson, senior)
Made 14 appearances, recording a 3-2 record, five saves, and a 2.89 ERA. Posted a 0.93 WHIP, 13 walks, and 36 strikeouts in 28 innings. Held opponents to a .134 batting average.
Pitcher: Jem Sisco (Jefferson, sophomore)
Made eight starts as a freshman and posted a 2-1 record with a 3.37 ERA. He also collected 50 strikeouts over 34 2/3 innings.
