Each year the Philadelphia Baseball Review consults with coaches and scouts from across the region to develop a watch list of the top talent within the various divisions of the NCAA. 

The roster below includes some of the premier talents from around the region that you should watch this season at the Division 1 level. 

Catcher: Andrew Cossetti (Saint Joseph's, senior) 
Tied for the Atlantic 10 lead with 16 homers last season while leading the league in slugging (.720). Posted a 1.170 OPS and was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team in 2021. Posted a pair of four-RBI games against Villanova and James Madison 

Infielder: Nate Thomas (Saint Joseph's, senior) 
Led the Hawks last season with 13 doubles and 38 RBI's while hitting .248. He finished second on the team with nine homers. Had a team-best 11 multi-RBI games, including six three-RBI outings and a five-RBI day against Fordham on April 24. 

Infielder: Wyatt Henseler (Penn, sophomore) 
Starred for the Quakers in their truncated season last year, hitting .365 with 17 RBI's over 14 games. He finished the year with a nine-game hitting streak and four multi-hit games. 

Infielder: Craig Larsen (Penn, senior) 
Hit just .226 last season in 14 games, but turned a corner with hits in four of his final six contests. He was a Second-Team All-Ivy Selection in 2019 and collected 44 RBI's, the most for a freshman in program history. 

Outfielder: Chris Rotondo (Villanova, graduate student) 
He slashed .272/.400/.566 with nine doubles, five triples, and seven homers. Also plated 23 runs and totaled 34 runs scored during the 2021 season. He enters 2022 riding a streak of 104 consecutive games started dating back to the 2018 season. 

Outfielder: Tommy Courtney (Penn, senior) 
One of the best defensive outfielders in the region, he also swings a solid stick, hitting .323 last season with six stolen bases in 14 games. 

Outfielder: Brendan Hueth (Saint Joseph's, graduate student) 
Led Saint Joseph's in batting average (.375) and hits (54) while finishing second on the team with a .986 OPS. He recorded a team-high 18 multi-hit games and is a career .293 hitter for the Hawks. 

Pitcher: Danny Wilkinson (Villanova, junior) 
Led the Wildcats pitching staff with 17 appearances last year and was second in the Big East with seven saves. He has logged 37 2/3 innings on the mound with 54 strikeouts over his career at Villanova. 

Pitcher: Ian McCole (Saint Joseph's, graduate student) 
Made ten starts last season and posted a 4.55 ERA to go along with 58 strikeouts over 61 1/3 innings. Tossed two complete games and figures to be a vital piece for the Hawks rotation in 2022. 

Pitcher: Kevin Eaise (Penn, senior) 
Collected 26 strikeouts over 26 innings last season. Finished the year 2-0 with a 2.42 ERA while holding opponents to a .186 batting average. 

Pitcher: Joe Miller (Penn, senior) 
He hasn't had a chance to excel yet because of Covid, but his stuff is electric. He's chalked up 69 strikeouts over 58 career innings and will play a significant role in Penn's chase for an Ivy League title this season. 

Pitcher: Tyler Arella (Villanova, graduate student) 
Posted a 3.43 ERA over ten starts last season while holding opponents to a .242 batting average. He's going to be the main arm in the Wildcats rotation to open the season. Posted the second-best WHIP on the staff last year with a 1.29.
