The Philadelphia Baseball Review continues to recognize the region’s top collegiate baseball talent, naming Eastern’s Robert Del Buono and Ursinus’ Kieran Hollander as this week’s Division III Offensive and Pitcher of the Week, respectively.
Division III Honors
Robert Del Buono (Eastern) – Offensive Player of the Week
Del Buono, a sophomore infielder, put together a stellar offensive performance, going 8-for-15 with five runs scored, a double, a triple, a homer, and three RBIs. The Neshaminy product is hitting .400 on the season with a 1.204 OPS, helping Eastern maintain a 5-5 record through ten games.
Kieran Hollander (Ursinus) – Pitcher of the Week
Hollander, a senior left-hander, delivered a dominant outing for Ursinus, tossing six scoreless innings in a win over Bridgewater State. The Cranford, N.J. native scattered five hits, walked just two, and struck out six. He has been outstanding to start the season, posting a 2-0 record with a 1.72 ERA over three starts, helping the Bears to an impressive 7-3 record.
