This spotlight celebrates the top hitters and pitchers who delivered exceptional performances, showcasing the depth of talent across the region’s collegiate programs.
Jefferson junior right-hander Danny Kerr tossed six scoreless frames on Saturday, scattering just two hits while collecting 10 strikeouts in an 11-1 victory over Clarion. His effort earned him our D-II Pitcher of the Week honors. He's 2-0 on the year with a 1.50 ERA over 12 innings.
On the offensive side, West Chester’s Sean Szestowicki earned D-II Offensive Player of the Week honors after a solid week for the Golden Rams. Over four games, he went 8-for-16 with six RBIs, a homer, and three stolen bases. His .419 average on the season leads West Chester who sits at 6-2 on the year.
