D-II Players of the Week
Each week throughout the college baseball season, the Philadelphia Baseball Review honors standout performances across all divisions with our College Player and Pitcher of the Week accolades, spotlighting the region’s top talent and exceptional achievements.

Ryan DeHaven, West Chester – DeHaven turned in an outstanding week on the mound for the Golden Rams, pitching 10 innings across two appearances. He allowed just one run on five hits while striking out six. The junior started the week with an impressive eight-inning outing against Molloy, where he allowed one run on five hits and struck out six. Unfortunately, a ninth-inning rally by the Golden Ram bullpen led to a no-decision for DeHaven. On Sunday against East Stroudsburg, he earned his first save of the season, tossing two shutout innings on just 21 pitches to seal a 4-3 comeback victory and help West Chester earn a crucial series split. DeHaven is currently sporting a 2.49 ERA over 21 2/3 innings.

Jalen David, Holy Family – The outfielder had a stellar week, going 9-for-16 with a double, a triple, seven runs, seven RBI, and four stolen bases during the Tigers' 5-1 stretch. David produced four multi-hit games and posted an impressive 1.350 OPS. Over his five appearances, all wins, he batted .563, adding two walks, a hit-by-pitch, a triple, a double, seven runs, seven RBI, and four stolen bases. He reached base multiple times in every game, including at least two hits in four contests.

David's week began with a 3-for-6 performance in Tuesday’s sweep of Bloomfield, where he added a walk, hit-by-pitch, triple, five RBI, three runs, and two stolen bases. He followed that up with a 2-for-3 outing in Thursday's win over D'Youville, including a walk and two runs. David closed out his week with a 4-for-7 showing in Friday’s sweep of the Saints, recording a double, two runs, two RBI, and two stolen bases.
