Domenic Picone secured his third win of the season, striking out 11 batters over five innings while allowing six runs. Alec Rodriguez sealed the game with two flawless innings, not conceding a single hit and earning his first save of the season.
The offensive effort was solid, with every starter contributing at least one hit and run scored, many tallying multiple hits. Owen Petrich went 4-for-6 with three RBIs, and Ryan Picollo also drove in three runs.
The Hawks' 15 runs equaled their season high set against Bucknell on March 3rd, while their 20 hits marked a new season best.
The Hawks return to action on Tuesday hosting Penn as part of the Liberty Bell Classic.
Elsewhere, Dylan Dennis hit a solo homer but it wasn't enough as Georgetown completed a sweep of Villanova on Saturday in Washington, DC., cruising to a 6-1 win.
Luke McCollugh took the loss, surrendering three runs over 4 2/3 innings.
The Wildcats will host Delaware State on Wednesday.
