Neumann took care of business in Myrtle Beach, S.C., clinching a solid 3-1 victory over Hilbert College on Tuesday afternoon.

In the top of the fifth inning, the Knights seized an opportunity to pull ahead. After the first two batters were hit-by-pitch, Neumann capitalized on errors by Hilbert College to score two runs. Zion Spearman then added to the lead with a sacrifice fly, putting Neumann up 3-0.

With this crucial win under their belt, Neumann (3-2) is now gearing up to face Worchester Polytechnic Institute tomorrow, with the first pitch set for 3:00 PM.

On the pitching front, Zach Mullins delivered a stellar performance, commanding the mound for 6 1/3 innings and allowing only one unearned run on five hits. He whiffed three on the day.

Later in the game, Morgan D'Amico took over, tossing 2 2/3 innings and impressively securing six strikeouts to seal the save.

The offensive drive was well-supported by standout performances from Brandon Colon and Josh Finger, both of whom notched two hits in the game.

Additionally, Nick Glebocki, Marcus White, and Donovan Brooks contributed with their speed and agility, each crossing the plate to bolster the Knights' victory.
