Immaculata faced a tough start in the Armstrong Invitational, hosted by Methodist University, as they fell to No. 15 Christopher Newport with a score of 11-4 in their opener on Saturday. 

Despite the defeat, Shawn Haut showcased his stellar form at the plate for the Mighty Macs, going 3-for-5 on the day, including a double and an RBI. Joey Wright also contributed, going 2-for-5 with a double of his own. 
 
Looking ahead, Immaculata is poised to bounce back as they return to action on Sunday with a pair of challenging contests. In the morning, they will square off against Wittenberg, followed by a matchup against Methodist later in the day. 
 
Elsewhere, Delaware Valley battled an early deficit but bounced back with a five-run eighth before pushing across the winning run in the 10th to beat Norwich, 11-10. 
 
Reese Hackett finidhed 3-for-6 on the day and drove in the winning run with an RBI single. Jonathan Drews chipped in with three hits, drove in three runs, and crossed the plate three times. 
 
Colin Foley secured the win for the Aggies, tossing two scoreless frames. 
 
The club will face Ursinus in a doubleheader in Vero Beach on Sunday.
