Philly College Baseball Weekend Preview (3/29-3/31)

A smaller slate of weekend games because of the Easter holiday. Penn will visit Columbia in a pivotal Ivy League series. The Quakers beat the Lions in the opening round of last year's Ivy League Tournament ... Justin Massielo's two-run double in the ninth etched his place into the local record books, becoming just the sixth member of the 200 hit club in the Arcadia University baseball teams 16-11 non-conference win at Haverford College on Tuesday ... Villanova and Georgetown will meet to kick off BIG EAST play for both teams for the third year in a row. Game one will mark the 155th matchup between the two programs dating back all the way to 1898. The Wildcats lead the Hoyas 98-56 all time. Georgetown claimed the series last year winning two out of three at Villanova Ballpark ... Immaculata dominated Marywood last weekend to open conference play, posting a +28 run differential over three wins.
