Collaborating closely with various local scouts and talent evaluators, the Philadelphia Baseball Review proudly presents a weekly power ranking showcasing the most formidable high school baseball programs in the region. Initially featuring five standout teams, this list will gradually expand to encompass the top 10 as the season unfolds.
 
1. Malvern Prep 
Widely regarded as the best program in Pennsylvania, the Friars will face Ridley on Wednesday before embarking on a trip to Florida that includes nine games in five days. 
 
2. Bonner 
The Friars open their season at the Wide World of Sports complex in Florida on Thursday. The club opens the Catholic League schedule on April 2 with a contest against Conwell-Egan. 
 
3. Haverford School 
The Fords beat a solid CB East team last week. The club reached the PAISSA Quarterfinals last year before falling to Penn Charter. 
 
4. Central Bucks West 
The Bucks were knocked out in the PIAA 6A Quarterfinals last year by Father Judge. The club opens the 2024 season on Thursday with a game against rival Central Bucks East. 
 
5. Father Judge 
The Crusaders won the PIAA 6A State Title last year and returned a solid core of players. The club beat up on a pair of Public League clubs prior to heading south where they've lost three straight against two clubs from North Carolina that have a combined 14-1 record.
