Cabrini beats Gwynedd Mercy
Facing the daunting prospect of elimination and potentially bidding farewell to their school's baseball program, Cabrini rose to the occasion with an emphatic 13-0 victory over local rival Gwynedd Mercy in an Atlantic East Conference postseason elimination showdown on Friday in Winchester, Va.

Dustin Sutton led the Cavs at the plate with five RBIs via three hits, including a double and a homer. Jaden Dickerson also was a significant contributor, collecting four hits while driving in three.

Zack Brook tossed a complete game gem, using 132 pitches in the shutout. He surrendered just seven hits, walked three, and whiffed seven.

Cabrini will play again on Friday, facing the loser between Immaculata and Marymount in an elimination game. The Cavs lost on Wednesday to the Mighty Macs, 34-11.
