The Philadelphia Catholic League playoffs are scheduled to begin on Wednesday with first-round action, but a rainy forecast could lead to schedule changes.

Devon Prep (10) at Archbishop Ryan (7) | 4 pm
The Tide rolled to an 11-3 regular season win over the Raiders in their lone meeting. Joe Ficoturo collected two hits in the win while crossing the plate three times. Patrick Arnold drove in a pair of runs while freshman Hunter Mishock homered and drove in three. The Tide enter the PCL postseason riding a three-game losing streak, while the Raiders come into playing having won three of their last four contests, including a pair of PCL victories over Archbishop Wood and Cardinal O'Hara.

Archbishop Wood (9) at Cardinal O'Hara (8) | 4:15 pm
The Lions won the regular season matchup between the two teams, with seniors Noah McMullen and Kevin King allowing just one run on three hits in a 3-1 victory. However, the Lions enter the postseason on a rough streak, having lost 10 of their last 11 games. Meanwhile, the Vikings experienced back-to-back PCL losses to Archbishop Ryan and Neumann-Goretti last week but finished their schedule with a non-conference win over Nueva Esperanza.

The PCL quarterfinals will begin (weather permitting) on Saturday. La Salle enters as the No. 1 seed, while Neuman-Goretti is the No. 2 seed. Their opponents will be dictated by the results from Wednesday's contests.

The other two quarterfinal contests include Father Judge (6) at Conwell-Egan (3), and Bonner-Prendergast (5) at Saint Joseph's Prep (4).

The semifinals will be held at FDP Park on May 22, with the PCL Championship on May 25 at Widener University.
