Saint Joseph's
Saint Joseph's secured its fourth consecutive Atlantic 10 postseason berth on Friday after splitting a doubleheader with George Washington at Smithson Field. In the opener, the Revolutionaries rallied with three runs in the ninth inning to win 4-1. However, the Hawks turned the tables in the nightcap, scoring three late runs to claim a 4-1 victory and clinch their spot in the Atlantic 10 Championship.

In the first game, Colin Yablonski took the loss, allowing three runs, two of which were unearned, in one inning of relief. Ryan Cesarini stood out for the Hawks with a two-hit performance. Will McCausland was solid in the defeat, allowing a run on five hits in 6 2/3 innings.

Owen Petrich delivered the game-winner in the sixth inning of Game 2, while Luke Zimmerman and Conlan Wall each pushed across insurance runs. Luke Gabrysh collected the win in relief, tossing four scoreless frames while allowing just one hit.

The Hawks currently would open the Atlantic 10 postseason tourney next week as a No. 5 seed, however, UMass still has two regular season games to complete and swept the Hawks during the regular season so they hold the tie-breaker and could drop the Hawks to No. 6.
