His dominant effort propelled Saint Joseph's to a commanding 14-0 victory in an Atlantic 10 Baseball Championship elimination game at Capital One Park in Tysons, Va.
Ryan Cesarini stayed red-hot at the plate, going 4-for-4 with five RBIs, including a two-run homer in the third inning and a three-run blast in the fourth. Owen Petrich and Tim Dickinson also contributed homers, as the Hawks collected 16 hits in the win.
Conlan Wall crossed the plate four times.
Petrich, Dickinson, Ryan Weingartner, and Ryan Picollo each drove in a pair of runs for the Hawks.
Charlie Weber took the loss for Saint Louis (37-16), allowing three runs on two hits in two and a third innings.
The Billikens were shut out just twice this season prior to Thursday.
The Hawks will now prepare to face fifth-seeded George Washington in another elimination contest on Friday.
The Hawks took two-of-three from the Revolutionaries in the final weekend of the regular season.
