Cairn is poised for a showdown against Keystone on Monday in La Plume for the United East divisional round championship. The game is set to kick off at 10 a.m.

Should Cairn emerge victorious, both teams will progress to an elimination match later in the day to determine the champion in the double-elimination format. The triumphant team will then move forward to face the winner from the Volt Division side of the bracket.

Originally slated for Sunday, the games were rescheduled due to rain, pushing the action to Monday. After a setback in their opening match against Wilson on Friday, where they fell 3-0, the Highlanders rebounded impressively with two wins on Saturday, defeating Rosemont before closing the day with a victory over Wilson.

With this latest triumph, Cairn's season record stands at 26-17, marking the most single-season wins in program history, surpassing the previous record set in 2022 with 25 wins.

On the other side, top-seeded Keystone secured a comfortable win over Rosemont in their tournament opener on Friday, triumphing 23-4. They followed this up with an 11-4 victory against Wilson on Saturday, securing their spot in the final.

Notably, Keystone dominated the season series against Cairn, claiming victory in all three encounters in late March.

Tyler Warr led Cairn at the plate in conference play this season, hitting .500 (34-for-68) with four homers and 32 RBIs. He collected three RBIs in Saturday's must-win contest against Wilson.
