The Phillies started their home Grapefruit League run with a solid 4-0 win against the Yankees at BayCare Park in Clearwater on Sunday. 
 
Cristian Pache's RBI single in the second inning kicked off a three-run spree for the Phils. Garrett Stubbs followed suit with another RBI single, and Trea Turner capitalized on a fielding error to bring in another run. Pache later sealed the deal with a solo homer in the fourth inning. 
 
Aaron Nola looked sharp in his season debut, pitching two strong innings and striking out three. The Phillies utilized eight pitchers in total, conceding only one hit and tallying 13 strikeouts. Mick Abel showed promise on the mound, notching two strikeouts in his inning of work. 
 
Looking ahead, David Buchanan is scheduled to start on Monday as the Phillies face the Red Sox in Fort Myers. Although the game won't be broadcasted on radio or television, fans can catch the action via streaming on MLB.com. 
 
Roster Move 
The Phillies signed catcher Cam Gallagher to a minor league contract with a spring training invite as a non-roster player before Sunday's game. A Lancaster, Pennsylvania native, the 31-year-old Gallagher brings experience from 227 major league games split between the Kansas City Royals (2017-22) and Cleveland Guardians (2023). Last season, he earned a spot on the Guardians' Opening Day roster after impressing at their major league spring training camp as a non-roster invitee, featuring in 56 games (53 starts) behind the plate. Throughout his career, Gallagher has maintained a .211 batting average.
