Arcadia used a walk-off wild pitch to down No. 3 Baldwin Wallace, 5-4, in 10 innings on Saturday afternoon at Johns Hopkins in non-conference action. 
 
Tommy Ajjan scored the winning run with two outs in the 10th. He reached base earlier in the frame via a leadoff walk before advancing to second on a passed ball and third via a Kevin Wheeler fielder's choice.
 
Matt Donchez homered for the Knights in the win, while Cam Nebel secured the win after tossing 2 1/3 scoreless frames. 
 
Hunter Curley started for Arcadia and looked solid, tossing five innings while surrendering two runs. 
 
Baldwin Wallace is the highest-ranked opponent the Knights have defeated in their program history, topping their previous best of No. 5 North Central in the 2022 season. 
 
The Knights return to action on Sunday with a challenging pair of games. including a rematch with No. 3 Baldwin Wallace at 11:00 a.m. before finishing the weekend against No. 1 Johns Hopkins at 2:30 p.m.

Haverford College (2-0) commenced the 2024 season with a pair of seven-inning victories at Gwynedd Mercy (1-2) on Saturday, notching a 6-2 triumph in seven innings for the season-opening win, and returning for a 2-0 blanking of the Griffins in the second contest of the day. The games took place at the new Frank O. Genuardi turf field on the campus of Gwynedd Mercy. Riley Grohowski starred on the mound for the Fords, tossing six scoreless frames in the nightcap.
