Cabrini baseball
Cabrini secured a solid non-conference victory on Monday against local rival Eastern in Myrtle Beach, winning 7-1.

Dustin Sutton's homer, along with two runs and two RBIs, played a key role in the win. Dom Marotta's pitching was also noteworthy, with six strong innings and just one run allowed on six hits.

The victory brought the Cavs' record to 4-0 for the season, solidifying their dominant start with a substantial 42-6 scoring advantage over opponents.

Cabrini returns to action on Wednesday with a doubleheader against Bridgewater. Eastern will face Hanover on Tuesday.

In other local action, Ursinus fell to No. 11 Misericordia, 12-5.

Jordan Williams finished 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI in the loss. Connor Bogansky whiffed four and surrendered one hit over two innings in relief.

The Bears will host Marywood on Wednesday.
