The Philadelphia Baseball Review released its Division-II College Player of the Week awards on Monday for the period ending March 3.

Junior catcher Nate Steele of the University of the Sciences has been named the Philadelphia Baseball Review's D-II Hitter of the Week, while sophomore right-hander John McCrane was named Philadelphia Baseball Review's D-II Pitcher of the Week.

Steele finished the weekend 6-for-10 (.600) with a pair of doubles, a walk, and four RBIs. Through seven games for the Devils this season he's hitting .500 with a pair of homers and nine RBIs. Steele was also honored last week by the Review as Co-Hitter of the Week.

McCrane tossed six innings for the Devils on Sunday, surrendering three runs over six innings. He allowed four hits and struck out seven.

The Philadelphia Baseball Review names winners each Monday throughout the college season.

Founded in 2006, the Philadelphia Baseball Review covers all aspects of baseball in Philadelphia region.
