Tim Brodhag and Kris Morgenweck earn Philly D-II Weekly honors
The Philadelphia Baseball Review released its Division-II College Player of the Week awards on Monday for the period ending March 17.

Jefferson senior infielder Timothy Brodhag has been named the Philadelphia Baseball Review's D-II Hitter of the Week, while USciences junior right-hander Kris Morgenweck has been named the Philadelphia Baseball Review's D-II Pitcher of the Week.

Brodhag hit .565 (13-for-23) over the week for the Rams. He doubled twice, hit three homers, and drove in nine runs. He's hitting .412 on the season and leads the Rams in nearly every meaningful offensive category.

Morgenweck tossed a seven inning complete game shutout on Wednesday in a 7-0 win over Lincoln. He scattered three hits and struck out nine.

The Philadelphia Baseball Review names winners each Monday throughout the college season.
