Bryce Harper listed as day-to-day for Phillies
Bryce Harper is listed as day-to-day after being hit the right foot by a pitch in Friday's Grapefruit League contest against the Toronto Blue Jays. X-rays on his ankle came back as negative.

The newly acquired superstar was plunked by a 96-mph fastball from Blue Jays hurler Trent Thornton. He immediately fell to the ground and rolled around near home plate before being helped to his feet. He was able to walk off the field on his own power.

"No concerns about Opening Day at this point," Philadelphia manager Gabe Kapler said Saturday morning while revealing Harper's swelling lessened overnight, per ESPN's Jeff Passan.

Harper is not in the lineup for Saturday's contest against the Astros.
