West Chester, Chestnut Hill, Jefferson, and USciences all represented on list
As conference play for most clubs is in full swing, now is an excellent time to take a look at some of the region's top performers through the first portion of the D-II college baseball season.

Catcher: Nate Steele leads the UScience offense, hitting .309 on the season with a pair of homers and a team-leading 14 RBIs.

First base: Joe Zirolli has three homers for West Chester and is hitting .306 on the season.

Second base: Eric Gilham is one of the hottest hitters in the region right now, collecting seven hits over his last five games. He’s hitting .420 on the year with nine RBIs and four stolen bases.

Shortstop: Chestnut Hill’s Jared Healey has the highest batting average in the city at the D-II level at .441. He also has six stolen bases to go along with 11 RBIs.

Third base: Jared Melone is hitting .441 on the season over 16 games and holds the West Chester lead with 34 total bases.

Right field: Timothy Brodhag leads the Jefferson offense with three homers, 19 RBIs, and a .347 batting average. The senior is on pace to put up the best numbers of his collegiate career this season.

Center field: Joey Coyle opened the season with a 12-game hitting streak and has hit safely for West Chester in 14 contests this season. He has 13 RBIs, three stolen bases, and is hitting .357.

Left field: Kyle Feaster has made only nine starts for West Chester, but he’s made a significant impact by hitting .469 over 32 at-bats. Five of his 15 hits this season have been doubles, plus he’s swiped two bases.
