GAMES OF MARCH 6, 2019

Penn 3, Duke 1: The Quakers scored a pair of ninth inning runs to seal a two-game sweep over the nationallt ranked (No. 22) Blue Devils. Craig Larsen picked up the game-winning RBI with a single scoring Matt McGeagh while Tommy Courtney followed with a single to add an insurance run. Josh Sidney tossed six innings, surrendering one run on five hits, and struck out one.

Villanova 5, Northeastern 2: A four-run sixth inning, highlighted by a Ryan Toohers RBI-single that scored a pair, lifted the Wildcats to their second win of the season. Timothy Lilly finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored while Dylan McNary chipped in with a pair of hits and a stolen base. Jimmy Kingsbury earned the save, tossing two scoreless innings while striking out three.

Gwynedd Mercy 13, RPI 3: Nick Mulvey, Ryan Keen, and Jason Mulvey collected three hits each in the win. Evan Miller and Sachael Sciarretta each drove in a pair of runs. Bryan Kaelin recorded the win, tossing 5 2/3 innings while surrendering three runs (two earned) on eight hits.

Gwynedd Mercy 8, Wartburg 3: Ryan Keen, Jason Mulvey, and Sachael Sciarretta collected two hits each. Brian Wildrick secured the win, surrendering two runs - one earned - over 7 1/3 innings.

COE 8, Widener 2: Nick D'Alessandro finished 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored to lead the Pride offense. Kade Jones surrendered four runs, all unearned, over six innings of work. He struck out four.
