GAMES OF MARCH 12, 2019

La Salle 14, St. Peter's 4: Ryan Guckin homered and finished with four RBIs while Kevin McGowan remained hot at the plate, collecting four RBIs of his own in the winning effort for the Explorers. Nick O'Day chipped in with two hits and Mike Jenkins recorded the win, tossing five innings while collecting four strikeouts. The win was the eighth of the season for the Explorers, a mark the club didn't reach until April 7th last season.

Penn 19, Lafayette 3: Ed Malinowski finished 5-for-6 with four runs scored, Josh Hood finished 4-for-5 with four runs scored, and Sean Phelan collected two hits, including a homer, and drove in three in a dominant performance for the Quakers. Craig Larsen hit a first inning grand slam to lead the charge. Joe Miller tossed 3 1/3 scoreless innings in relief, notching seven strikeouts to earn the win.

Navy 5, Villanova 1: Ryan Toohers finished 2-for-4 with a double and John Heilenbach picked up an RBI in the losing effort. Jake Esp took the loss for the Wildcats, surrendering one run over three innings in relief. The loss knocks Villanova to 3-12 on the season.

Saint Joseph's 3, Bucknell 2: Jake Artz delivered a two-run triple in the fifth to highlight a three run frame that ultimately proved to be the difference for the Hawks. Matt Kennedy tossed 6 2/3 scoreless innings, scattering three hits while collecting four punch outs.

Wayne State 7, West Chester 2: Joey Coyle finished with a pair of hits and two RBIs for the Rams. Tim Edwards took the loss, hurling four innings while surrendering two runs on five hits.

Swarthmore 22, SUNY-Canton 6: Holden Bridge finished 6-for-6 with six RBIs to pace the Garnet. Charles Levitt and Cole Beeker each provided doubles while Terry Dale provided four RBIs, three coming via a long ball in the sixth.

Swarthmore 11, Susquehanna 8: Holden Bridge remained hot, finishing 3-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored. Charles Levitt finished with four hits and two RBIs while Jared Gillen drove in three. Cole Beeker finished with two hits and also picked up the save.

Arcadia 8, Ohio Wesleyan 1: Phil Pierfy finished with two hits and drove in three for the Knights. Zak Thomas also drove in a pair. Carson Denham notched the win, tossing seven innings while surrendering one run on five hits.
