Philadelphia Baseball Review D-II Players of the Week
The Philadelphia Baseball Review released its Division-II College Player of the Week awards on Monday for the period ending March 10.

West Chester senior infielder Jared Melone has been named the Philadelphia Baseball Review's D-II Hitter of the Week, while USciences sophomore right-hander John McCrane has been named the Philadelphia Baseball Review's D-II Pitcher of the Week.

Melone finished the week 4-for-10 (.400) for the Rams with a pair of doubles, a homer, four runs scored, and two RBIs. He's now hitting .444 on the year for West Chester.

McCrane tossed a gem for USciences on Friday, hurling seven innings while surrendering one run on four hits. He walked a pair and struck out eight. He has 21 strikeouts on the year over 16 1/3 innings.

The Philadelphia Baseball Review names winners each Monday throughout the college season.
