Philadelphia Baseball Review D-II College Players of the Week
The Philadelphia Baseball Review released its Division-II College Player of the Week awards on Monday for the period ending February 24.

Senior outfielder Joey Coyle of West Chester and catcher Nate Steele of the University of the Sciences have been co-named as Philadelphia Baseball Review's Hitter of the Week, while West Chester's sophomore right-hander Zach Rice was named the Philadelphia Baseball Review's Pitcher of the Week.

Coyle went 7-for-11 (.636) over the weekend with a homer, a double, and a pair of RBIs. He also walked twice and stole a pair of bases. Steele finished the weekend 5-for-12 (.417) with a pair of dingers and five RBIs.

Rice tossed a seven-inning complete game for the Rams against St. Rose on Friday, sitting down 12 while scattering just three hits and one walk.

The Philadelphia Baseball Review names winners each Monday throughout the college season.
