GAMES OF MARCH 8, 2019

Kansas 7, Saint Joseph's 5: Brendan Hueth and James McConnon collected two hits each and Dominic Cuoci drove in three in the losing effort for the Hawks. Jordan DiValerio struck out nine and surrendered just one run over five innings, but the bullpen faltered allowing five runs over the finale three frames.

USciences 4, Cedarwood 2: Nate Steele continues to swing a hot bat, collecting two hits while Matt McClennen drove in pair of runs for the Devils. John McCrane pieced together a solid outing, tossing seven innings while surrendering one run while collecting eight strikeouts.

PSU-Abington 6, Trine 2: Tyler DiPatri and Bobby Grife each drove in a pair of runs in the win. Darrien Mogel tossed eight strong, scattering four hits while allowing one earned run.

Palm Beach Atlantic 7, Chestnut Hill 6: The Griffins lost in walk-off fashion with Jerry Mangan surrendering the winning run on a one-out single to right-center. Andrew Dietz finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs in the loss. Eric Gilham chipped in with two RBIs.

Findlay 9, Jefferson 5: No information available.

La Salle 9, New Mexico State 8: Tommy Toal drilled a two-run double to center in the seventh to ultimately lift the Explorers to an impressive win. Kevin McGowan finished 3-for-3 with four runs scored and two RBIs while Tatem Levins homered, collected two hits, and drove in three. Erik Janss tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win. Connor Hinchliffe collected the save, his fifth of the season.
