Widener dropped both ends of a twin bill on Saturday at No. 19 Shenandoah, falling 13-2 in Game 1 and then 3-1 in the nightcap.
Aidan O'Brien struggled on the mound in Game 1 for the Pride, surrendering seven runs (five earned) over 3 1/3 innings.
Kyle Brex finished with two hits, including a double, while Justin Costanzo and Nick Barenz each drove in a run in the loss.
Costanzo hit a solo homer in the seventh inning of Game 2. Caleb Horner took the loss for the Pride in the nightcap, surrendering three runs on six hits over 4 2/3 innings.
Widener (1-2) returns to the diamond next Saturday with another doubleheader, facing SUNY Cortland and host Salisbury.
