Here's a look around at Sunday's local D-III action.

No. 19 Ithaca 10, No. 15 Arcadia 8 (Game 1) 
The Bombers relied on a two-run homer in the 11th inning to secure the victory. Alex Madera and Justin Massielo finished with three hits each in the loss. Zach Steiger took the loss for the Knights, surrendering three runs in five innings of relief. 

No. 15 Arcadia 16, No. 19 Ithaca 9 (Game 2) 
The Knights erupted for 14 runs in a three-inning span to put the game out of reach. Alex Madera finished with 4-for-6, including a homer and four RBIs, while Anthony Bruno chipped in with two hits and a pair of RBIs. Carson Denham recorded the win in relief, tossing 3 1/3 innings while surrendering just one unearned run. 

Lynchburg 4, Eastern 2 (Game 1) 
John Beck took the loss, surrendering three runs over five frames. Matt McHale led the offense, finishing 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base, and a run scored. 

Lynchburg 14, Eastern 0 (Game 2) 
The Eagles collected just four hits in the nightcap. Gavin Mikulski took the loss, surrendering six runs on seven hits over 1 2/3 innings. 

Valley Forge 5, Hilbert 3 (Game 1) 
Bubs Reeves collected two hits and drove in three runs, while Carlos Terc added a solo shot to lead the Patriots. Stephen Brice recorded the win, surrendering just one run over six innings. 

Hilbert 6, Valley Forge 3 (Game 2) 
Allan Goodwin and AJ Costantini collected two hits each in the loss. 

North Carolina Wesleyan 12, Neumann 0 (Game 1) 
Thomas Elgrim collected the lone hit on the afternoon for the Knights. 

North Carolina Wesleyan 14, Neumann 2 (Game 2) 
Isaiah Payton hit a solo homer for the Knights. Nate Griffin took the loss, surrendering 11 earned runs over 4 2/3 innings. 

New Jersey City 17, Haverford 7 
Jack Wallis finished with two hits, while Drew Doyle took the loss, surrendering four runs over 2 1/3 innings. 

Swarthmore 10, Scranton 9 
A six-run seventh inning, highlighted by a Nate Jbara RBI-single, lifted the Garnet to their second win of the season. Kaiden Rosenbaum and Emmet Reynolds finished with two RBIs each in the victory. Alexander Rimerman whiffed a pair and tossed a scoreless inning to record the save.
