Pat Toal of Cabrini
Pat Toal tossed four solid innings and collected eight strikeouts, while Dustin Sutton drove in a pair of runs to lead Cabrini to an impressive 12-2 victory over Cairn on Wednesday in the season opener for both clubs. 

Toal whiffed eight while scattering just three hits to record the win. A five-run fifth inning for the Cavs put an exclamation point on the afternoon. 

Zack Brook finished with two hits and a pair of RBIs, while Jake Eagle and Keegan Miller drove in two runs each. 

Blake Weinstein tossed three scoreless innings in relief for the Cavs, collecting four strikeouts. 

Dylan Jackson collected three hits on the afternoon for Cairn, while Zach Bauers and Joe Greenwood finished with two hits each. 

The Highlanders return to action on March 4 when the club welcomes Hood for a doubleheader. The Cavs will host Franklin & Marshall on Tuesday.
