Emilio Pallante had a career day at the plate for No. 11 Arcadia on Thursday at Skip Wilson Field, collecting three hits while driving in four to lift the Knights past Ursinus, 14-4.
Pallante also stole two bases while the Knights swiped 13 bags on the day, one shy of the program record set in 2013 against Valley Forge.
Hunter Curley recorded the win for Arcadia, tossing five scoreless frames while surrendering just three hits. He walked three and whiffed seven. David Kratz was saddled with the loss, allowing six runs (five earned) over 1 1/3 innings in relief.
Carrying a 2-0 lead into the third, the Knights broke the game open with a four-run frame highlighted by a Michael Bukowski two-run single.
Alex Madera finished the day with two hits, three RBIs, and a pair of stolen bases, while Ryan Smollen and Matthew Sot collected two hits each in the win.
Tom Snipes managed three hits for Ursinus in the losing effort.
Arcadia returns to action on Sunday when the club hosts Ithaca.
Ursinus will travel to Stevenson for a doubleheader on Sunday.
