Jefferson falls to Millersville
Senior hurler Anthony Pillari encountered trouble in the ninth inning on Friday at Cooper Park, allowing No. 19 Millersville to plate two runs to secure a walk-off victory over Jefferson, 6-5.

Pillari entered the final frame with the Rams holding a one-run lead. He whiffed the first batter he faced but subsequently surrendered a single and a triple, allowing Millersville to even the contest. He then uncorked a wild pitch later in the frame, allowing the runner from third to score to end the contest.

The Rams had a three-run lead heading into the home portion of the seventh inning before allowing four unanswered runs.

Josh Lopez collected two hits in the loss, while Ryan Coyle chipped in with two hits of his own, including a solo homerun.
