Jason Hughes went the distance tossing a three-hit shutout as Immaculata got back in the win column defeating Ursinus 7-0 on Friday afternoon. Hughes was dominant on the mound walking only one and striking out eight as Immaculata improved to 6-5 on the season.

The game remained scoreless until the top of the seventh inning when Justin Klemick scored on a sacrifice fly from Joey Wright to put Immaculata up 1-0.

The Macs would put the game out of reach in the top of the ninth inning, scoring five runs.

Joey Sacco led the Mighty Macs offensively going 2-for-5 with a double and three RBIs. Ryan Struble went 2-for-3 with a solo home run. 

Josh Crowding, Joey Wright, and Robert Woodward each drove in runs for the Macs.

The Macs will face Swarthmore on Saturday.

Zach Bauers homered and drove in three runs in the win. Tyler Warr chipped in with four hits while Jake Meisel finished 3-for-5. Dylan Jackson recorded the win, tossing six innings while surrendering two runs. He whiffed seven.

Penn College 13, Penn State Abington 7
Montana Milward collected two RBIs and finished 2-for-3 for Abington. Sean Doherty and Eric Stradling collected two hits each in the loss.

Penn State Abington 10, Penn College 2
Brandon Hightower surrendered one unearned run over seven solid innings. He struck out 10 and allowed just four hits. Justin Fogel homered and finished with three hits.
