Each week during the regular season the Philadelphia Baseball Review celebrates an Offensive and Pitcher of the Week.
Ryan Taylor | 2B | Freshman | Penn
Taylor hit .333 (5-for-15) with two home runs, four RBI and four runs last week, as Penn picked up a 10-inning win over Lehigh and a conference victory over Harvard. In the win over the Mountain Hawks on Wednesday, Taylor broke a 4-all tie with an RBI triple and scored an insurance run later in the inning.
Pitcher of the Week
Will McCausland | RHP | Freshman | Saint Joseph's
McCausland was in command on Friday afternoon, tossing seven shutout innings in a start against Maine. He scattered six hits while striking out six on the day in a no-decision that the Hawks would eventually win, 3-2. A native of Harleysville, Pennsylvania, McCausland leads all Atlantic 10 freshmen in earned run average and strikeouts thus far this season.
