Saint Joseph's
Saint Joseph's set a program record with eight home runs on Friday, hammering their way to a 19-13 victory over Richmond at Pitt Field in the conference opener for both clubs.

Ryan Weingartner finished with two homers and five RBIs, while Brett Callahan also hit a pair of homers and drove in three runs on four hits.

Ryan Cesarini, Nate Thomas, Ryan Picollo, and Luca Trigiani also homered in the contest.

The eight homers match the highest single-game total in Division I this season.

Every Hawks' hitter in the starting lineup recorded at least one hit and crossed the plate at least once.

The Hawks had a ten-run lead heading into the eighth, but the Spiders put up a six-spot to make things interesting.

Will McCausland recorded the win despite surrendering five runs in five frames.

The two clubs will resume their weekend set on Saturday at 1 p.m.
