Marquise Wood drove in two runs while Gabe Silva tossed five solid frames, pushing Jefferson past Wilmington on Monday afternoon in a semifinal contest of the Bill Giles Invitational, 5-3.

Wood put the Rams on the board with a two-run triple in the fifth and scored later in the frame.

Even at 3-3 in the eighth, Chris McLean opened things for the Rams with a leadoff single and eventually rounded the bases on three wild pitches. Silva walked later in the frame and crossed the plate on a Diego Santiago fielder's choice, giving the Rams a two-run advantage.

Ben Pika secured the win with a scoreless frame in relief, while Anthony Pillari collected his third save of the season with a perfect ninth inning.

The Rams will play either West Chester or Chestnut Hill in the championship on April 18. It'll mark the first time since 2013 that Jefferson will compete at Citizens Bank Park.
