Hatboro-Horsham moves up
The majority of high school programs across the Philadelphia region have begun non-conference play, so here's a look at our first in-season Philly high school baseball rankings.

Hatboro-Horsham jumped up four spots to No. 4 based on their trip to Florida and their handling of a quality Council Rock North squad. Souderton, Owen J. Roberts, Archbishop Wood, and Pennsbury dropped down one spot.

No. 1 Malvern Prep (1-0): The Friars made easy work of Upper Darby on Wednesday, with Jack Stead collecting three RBI en route to a 10-0 victory.

No. 2 Bonner-Prendie (0-0): The Friars open their season on Monday against Conwell-Egan.

No. 3 Henderson (2-0): The Warriors pieced together a walk-off win on Wednesday, beating Sun Valley 5-4.

No. 4 Hatboro-Horsham (3-0): The Hatters knocked off a pair of Florida teams last week, then took care of business on Wednesday with a 10-3 victory over Council Rock North.

No. 5 Souderton (0-1): Lost to Perkiomen Valley on Wednesday, 2-0.

No. 6 Owen J. Roberts (0-0): The Wildcats open their season on Saturday.

No. 7 Archbishop Wood (0-0): The Vikings will open the season on Friday as the club hosts New Hope-Solebury.

No. 8 Pennsbury (0-0): The Falcons will face a Central Catholic club from Pittsburgh on Friday night in Myrtle Beach.

No. 9 Coatesville: (1-0): The Red Raiders squeaked an 8-7 win over Bishop Shanahan on Tuesday.

No. 10 La Salle (0-0-1): The Explorers played Springside Chestnut Hill to a 9-9 tie on Wednesday. Kevin Schmidt drove in three runs for La Salle.
