PHILADELPHIA -- Major League Baseball unveiled the first wave of former players scheduled to appear at Capital One All-Star Village during 2026 MLB All-Star Week in Philadelphia, with more than 40 former stars expected to take part in the four-day fan festival at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from July 11-14.

Among the featured names are Steve Carlton, Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, Cole Hamels and Jamie Moyer, along with Hall of Famers Rollie Fingers, Fergie Jenkins, Jim Kaat and Fred Lynn.

MLB announced Tuesday that Howard and Rollins will also host a live recording of “The 6-1-1” podcast presented by FanDuel during the event, with special guests still to be announced.

Capital One All-Star Village will serve as the centerpiece fan experience of All-Star Week, transforming the Pennsylvania Convention Center into what MLB described as a baseball-themed interactive park featuring autograph sessions, youth baseball activities, exhibits, gaming experiences, merchandise, food and appearances from former players and mascots.

This year’s event will carry a distinctly Philadelphia flavor.

MLB said the layout of All-Star Village is being designed around Philadelphia’s identity as the “City of Neighborhoods,” with sections modeled after areas such as Center City, Fishtown, Old City, Fairmount and South Philadelphia.

The event will also feature Capital One PLAY BALL PARK, MLB’s youth-focused initiative that includes miniature diamonds, batting cages, pitching tunnels and instructional clinics led by former players, softball stars and MLB youth ambassadors.

Among those scheduled to participate in youth clinics and activities are Jennie Finch, Natasha Watley and MLB Youth Ambassador Coach Ballgame.

The list of former players currently scheduled to appear also includes Bobby Abreu, Larry Bowa, John Kruk, Charlie Manuel, Mike Lieberthal, Carlos Ruiz, Mickey Morandini, Milt Thompson and Juan Samuel, among many others.

Additional attractions planned for All-Star Village include MLB The Show 26 gaming stations, Home Run Derby VR experiences, batting cages, pitching tunnels, Hall of Fame exhibits, women in baseball exhibits, trophy displays, Minor League Baseball activations and food offerings from ballparks across Major League Baseball.

Tickets are currently available through MLB, with regular admission priced at $35. MLB also announced a limited-time $10 promotional offer using the code “ASVD."
